Jasprit Bumrah almost collided with 140kg Rahkeem Cornwall in scary incident

Jasprit Bumrah almost collided with 140 Kg Rahkeem Cornwall in a scary incident during India Vs West Indies second test match.

India are on a tour to West Indies and toll now the Indian contingent has done well. Especially, Jasprit Bumrah, who is on a sensational form and recently picked a hattrick to give India, a massive advantage in the second test.

Last night, India declared its innings after they gave a target of 478 to West Indies to complete it in next 2 days. Amidst all of this, it was a scary moment to see, when Bumrah was about to collide with Rahkeem Cornwall.

Surely, Bumrah would have taken damage from the World’s heaviest cricketer, if they had collided. However, Bumrah managed to get away without any clash with Cornwall. Bumrah was returning to his end after delivering the ball, which Cornwall sent it deep beyond the 30-yard-circle to take two runs.

While Cornwall was heading towards striker’s end, Bumrah happened to be in Cornwall’s way. Although, the Indian pacer managed to avoid the clash, and probably saved himself from getting any injury.

It would have been a big blow to India if Bumrah had collided with Cornwall, who weighs 140 Kg and probably would have managed to ground the bowler. Considering, Bumrah is the primary bowler of the Indian side, it would have been a catastrophe for India to see him out for the upcoming matches.

Presently, India seem to get closer to win this match to secure the test series, as West Indies have already lost two wickets in the last innings of the match and meanwhile the target still looks beyond the reach, even though there are two days remaining.

India have been dominating the match since the first innings, and there has not been any West Indian batsman, who can cruise the Caribbean side towards a win.
