Twitter reactions on MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav

Twitter reactions on MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav: Twitter was excited to see the Super Kings duo sealing the chase for the team.

During the fifth match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings at Delhi, Chennai Super Kings defeated Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets to register their second victory of IPL 2019.

Chasing a 148-run target, Super Kings’ chase was inspired from the quintessential “MS Dhoni School of Chasing Totals”. Dhoni, who came in to bat in the 11th over, took the game till the end. Despite CSK didn’t require him to follow a ultra safe approach, Dhoni was his usual contemporary self as he scored a single run off Axar Patel in the 17th over.

Jadhav and Dhoni ended up sharing a 48-run partnership for the fourth wicket. After Jadhav got caught behind the wickets off Kagiso Rabada in the last over, Dhoni and CSK all-rounder Dwayne Bravo (4*) won the match in the last over. While Jadhav scored 27 (34) with the help of two fours, Dhoni remained unbeaten on 32* (35) with the help of two fours and a six.

After Iyer won the toss and chose to bat, Delhi Capitals ended up scoring a mediocre 147-6 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan top-scored for his team with his 33rd IPL half-century. The southpaw scored 51 (47) with the help of seven fours. With bowling figures of 4-0-33-3, veteran all-rounder Dwayne Bravo was the highest wicket-taker for Super Kings.
