MS Dhoni showed glimpses of his typical style as he executed a great helicopter shot off Adil Rashid at Cardiff in the second T20I against England.

The fans were treated to a Dhoni special at the Sophia gardens in Cardiff. When Dhoni came out to bat in the second T20I against England, India were really struggling at 79 for 4.

They had lost the wickets of Suresh Raina, KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. The former Indian captain had a very sensitive task at hand.

When Dhoni came out to bat, India were in trouble. Dhoni came out with a cap on his head in his typical style. However, given that England have only one spinner in Adil Rashid in their squad, he had to call for a helmet in the very next over.

He had to protect his wicket as well, as there was no other recognized batsman except Hardik Pandya after him. At the same time, he also had to score quickly as India was not able to maintain momentum through their innings. The master managed both extremely well as he paced his innings beautifully.

On the fifth ball of the 15th over, Dhoni played four consecutive dot balls of Adil Rashid. Now the pressure was on Dhoni to neutralize the dot balls. On the 5th delivery of the over, Dhoni stepped out of the crease and whipped Rashid towards the cow corner in his typical style for a four with tremendous power.

Dhoni took singles and doubles initially and then cut loose in the last two overs. He went all guns blazing the as the last over actually went for 22 runs. Mahi took India to a below par but decent 148-run total.
