Dolph Ziggler has special clauses inserted into his new contract
After a number of debacles and charades, “The Showstopper” Dolph Ziggler has signed a new two-year deal with the company.
On his podcast “The Locker Room”, internet wrestling personality Bin “The Hacker” Hamin has stated that Ziggler has signed a lucrative deal with the company with unique clauses as per the request of the former Intercontinental and United States Champion.
Hamin also went on to reveal that Ziggler was on the verge to leave the company after his current contract expired.
The clauses are believed to be essential for Ziggler who wants to make his name outside of the WWE with his off ring ventures. As per the clause, he will be fully allowed to be involved in his outside projects without hampering his schedule.
Ziggler made his return at the Royal Rumble in the coveted No.30 spot. Though Ziggler failed to make an impact at the event, he is bestowed at a shot for the WWE Championship when he faces Baron Corbin for the final spot in the main event of Fastlane.
The star who was once slated to make it big in the wrestling industry, fell victim to injuries and poor booking. With this new sort of “part timer” deal, Ziggler is speculated to be on the losing side more often and make way for the new guys.
The deal seems to work for both parties with Ziggler gaining money and time for his ventures and WWE keeping hold of an experienced performer.
