Dota 2 B8 Team News: B8 drops out of Snow Sweet Snow Tournament; RdO reportedly leaves B8 roster
Dota 2 B8 Team News: B8 drops out of Snow Sweet Snow Tournament; RdO reportedly leaves B8 roster. A recent tweet has confirmed that B8 will no longer take part in the Snow Sweet Snow tournament. Also, Brazillian player RdO has also left B8’s roster.
B8 has been struggling to finalize a coherent roster, and this is clearly affecting their performance in tournaments. In DPC 2021 Season 1, the CIS team finished at the bottom of the table in the lower division. Reports suggest that their carry player, Leonardo “RdO” Fernandes has decided to leave the roster and try his luck elsewhere. Currently, his spot belongs to Aibek “Naive” Tokayev.
Reports also confirm that “RdO” will not return to B8’s roster. News of the Brazillian player leaving comes after their underwhelming performance in the CIS region of DPC 2021 Season 1. To make matters worse, B8 is also no longer participating in the Snow Sweet Snow tournament.
This news has been confirmed by a tweet which was put out by the tournament organizers. This decision is due to the roster issues the team is currently facing.
We are leaving the Snow Sweet Snow tournament due to changes in our roster and the inability to use more than two standins. We wish the rest of the teams good luck and continue to prepare for the new DPC season. More news soon. Stay tuned! 😉#b8d pic.twitter.com/fQK7V6vAzS

B8’s current sticky situation
B8 has not had a convincing run in Season 1 of DPC 2021. They lost 6 out of 7 games, and this has resulted in them being pushed to the last spot of the group table. Adding to this, the news of RdO leaving is not a good sign either. The roster has been constantly changing, and the organization started by TI winner “Dendi” is looking perilous.
Current B8 roster:
- Danil “Dendi” Ishutin
- Diego “Sexyfat” Barini
- Sergey “[T]SA” Timchenko (stand-in)
- Heitor “Duster” Pereira
