Clement ” Puppey ” Ivanov, is the captain and plays the hard support role for Team Secret. After their victory against Thunder Predator earlier today, he gave an interview to the Singapore Major Panel. In the interview, he breaks down the tactics he used while in the ban phase, the team strategies, and much more about the event.
The members of the Singapore Major Panel who interviewed Puppey were Sheever, Tsunami, and Godz. The first question from the panel was, “How did your team prepare and plan the strategies for this game?”
Puppey: My bans (prohibitions) are connected to a type of combination with which they have won many games. For example, in the first game we banned Earth Spirit, because there is a lot of relationship in their draft pattern and we went to break that pattern It’s the best against this team. Then we block a lot of heroes who are annoying in the line phase, the laning phase is quite important, we beat that part and we won.
Going ahead, Puppey admitted that Thunder Predator was a good team. He further said not many teams can put pressure on Team Secret the way Thunder Predator did. Here is a video clip that includes a lighter moment from the interview.
Team Secret in Singapore Major
Playing for coveted DPC Points & a substantial cash prize, Secret has won their first game of the Singapore Major. This means that they only have to win 4 more games to be in the Grand Finals. Their next fight is against PSG.LGD on 2 April. Secret have started their Singapore Major run on a good note, beating Thunder Predator 2-0. PSG.LGD, however, are a much more experienced team, and Secret will have their work cut out for them!
