DOTA 2 News: Virtus Pro has made its main Dota 2 roster inactive and will skip the ESL One Germany. Virtus Pro’s primary Dota roster has been having some struggles this year. We can expect some big changes to the roster during the shuffle.
A leak has suggested that this could be part of a massive roster shuffle in the EU/CIS region. Virtus Pro hasn’t had a good run ever since exited TI9 in the 9th spot. The management and scouts have had a hard time trying to build a team around Alexey “Solo” Berezin and Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko.
Virtus Pro took to Twitter to announce that their primary Dota 2 roster will sit out of the ESL One Germany as the team was not performing to expectations. Further, they will put things on pause to consider and make the best decisions for the roster and future of the organization.
The 7th position finish in the recent Omega League appears to be the final nail in Virtus Pro’s coffin

Although Virtus Pro’s main roster has not been matching expectations, their second team have been showing some spark of brilliance and serious potential right from the start of the year. They emerged runner-ups in the OGA Dota Pit Season 3. They fought their way through to the Grand-Finals, but were outplayed by Team Secret.
We tap out in game 3 and end 2nd place at the #OGADOTAPIT S3 GG’s to @teamsecret & grats!
