OG Jerax to Return to Dota : 2 Times TI Winner tweets about his return to playing Dota 2

Dota News: JerAx, TI winner with OG, tweets about his return to playing Dota 2. The name JerAx is synonymous with Tiny Airlines & Earth Spirit in Dota 2. The former TI Champion who played for OG in TI8 & TI9 is one of the first to win TI twice.

Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka is one of the unforgettable names in professional Dota 2. He has won two back-t0-back TIs with OG! Earlier today, JerAx took to Twitter to announce that he will be returning to Dota 2, and will start playing the game again. However, his fans will be disappointed that he also added that he wouldn’t be playing competitive games!

This news comes hot on the heels of the fact that OG has parted ways with their carry player MidOne after a year of playing together. OG also announced that they will be recruiting a new carry player. In light of this, the fact that JerAx isn’t returning to competitive Dota 2 is a bit disheartening.

Despite this news, fans have been responding to his tweet in a craze with memes and compliments to the former OG player. He has dominated games in TI as a support and has caused a lot of playful havoc in his professional games.

More details about JerAx’s return to Dota 2

JerAx stated in his tweet that he will be talking more about his return, and go further into the details when he returns to his streaming on his Twitch channel on 27th March 12 PM CET. You can find a link to his Twitch channel here. He further said that he might need to run through the new Dota 2 tutorial which has been created by SirActionSlacks!

The timing for JerAx’s return couldn’t be more perfect. However, his statement that he won’t play competitively is a bit sad. This could be temporary! Fans will have to wait another 2 days to find out if the decision is permanent or whether he plans to step back into the competitive scene again.
