Dota Pro Circuit Europe/CIS: Teams, Prize pool, Schedule & details on DPC Europe/CIS Region. The Europe/CIS region boasts of some of the most powerful team in the Dota 2 Pro Leagues. Read more for details on the Dota Pro Circuit in Europe/CIS region.

The Dota Pro Circuit starting dates are drawing closer, and many Europe/CIS teams are gearing up for intense battles spanning over a month. While some of the top-tier teams will receive a direct invite, the other teams have to battle it out. The Open Qualifiers for both regions will take place between 5 January & 9th January.

More than the prize money, a top-3 finish in their respective regions will give these time a direct qualification to the International. The International is the crown-jewel of the Dota Pro Circuit, and every team will eye on a booking a spot.

Dota Pro Circuit Europe/CIS teams

While the lower-tier teams battle it out to gain a spot in the upper & lower brackets, 4 teams from Europe & CIS have a direct invite to the upper bracket of the respective regions.

Europe

  1. Team Liquid’s roster: miCKe, qojqva, Boxi, iNSaNiA & Taiga.
  2. Team OG’s roster: Topson, midone, Ceb, Saksa & N0tail.
  3. Team Secret’s roster: Matumbaman, Nisha, zai, Yapzor & Puppey
  4. Team Nigma’s roster: Miracle, W33, minD_ContRoL, GH & KuroKy

CIS Region

  1. Virtus Pro’s roster: Nightfall, gpk, DM, Save & Kingslayer
  2. Na’Vi’s roster: V-Tune, Iceberg, General, RodjER & ALWAYSWANNAFLY
  3. Team Spirit’s roster: yataro, TORONTOTOKYO, Collapse, so bad & Miposhka
  4. Live to Win’s roster: dream, fn, Afterlife, Immersion & SoNNeiko

 

Dota Pro Circuit Europe/CIS Prize pool

Each region will have a prize pool of $ 205,000 in the upper bracket. This means a total of $410,000 will be up for grabs in the Europe/CIS division, which is split as follows:

  • 1st Place: $ 30,000
  • 2nd Place: $ 28,000
  • 3rd Place: $27,000
  • 4th Place: $ 26,000
  • 5th Place: $ 25,000
  • 6th Place: $ 24,000
  • 7th Place: $23,000
  • 8th Place: $22,000

While the prize pool is already lucrative, the better merits are the DPC points, amassing which will enable teams to qualify for the International.

Dota Pro Circuit Europe/CIS region Schedule

The open qualifiers end on 9 January for the CIS region, while the Europe region ends on 7 January. Meanwhile, teams which have already gotten through this round will face off on a decider tournament for each region.

The Decider tournament is a double elimination bracket, meaning it will be swift and merciless. CIS’ decider tournament will run from 8 January to 11. The Europe region will have it from 7 January to 10.

After this decider tournament, teams are slotted into the lower & upper bracket based on their performance. Here they have to contend with top-tier teams to stay in the hunt for a place in the International.
