Dybala-Salah swap deal

Dybala-Salah swap deal: The swap deal with Juventus and Liverpool including Paulo Dybala and Mohamed Salah has been doing the rounds.

Mohamed Salah is one of the best forwards in European football at the moment. The footballer was the highest goalscorer in the Premier League last season and is currently the joint-top goalscorer with Sergio Aguero this year.

It was earlier reported by Sky Arabia that Juventus were preparing a heavy bid for Mohamed Salah, which could exceed 200m euros.

However, a few reports also claimed that Juventus decided to offload Paulo Dybala in a swap deal for the Egyptian forward.

The Italian champions have now issued a statement to clarify the situation surrounding the two forwards.

Dybala-Salah swap deal:

It was reported earlier that Juventus were prepared to offer Paulo Dybala plus 44m pounds for Mohamed Salah.

However, the club’s sporting director Fabio Paratici has now responded to the reports. Paratici has stated that Dybala is an important part of the team and that he would be going ‘nowhere’ in the summer.

“Dybala remains. Only those who want to leave go away from Juventus. I repeat, our players are difficult to improve,” Paratici said.

He further insisted that only Lionel Messi would be an improvement on Dybala.

“With who can we improve on Dybala? Hard. Messi perhaps, already with Neymar I would have doubts.

“And Dybala is one that you always have at the end. Play all the games, he is present. When you look at the team you always find the sign of Dybala.”

The sporting director also believes that other than Cristiano Ronaldo he was proud of signing Paulo Dybala. “Dybala because he was a difficult player to buy.

“He came to replace Carlos Tevez, not really a light stuff. We had played a Champions League final, and we were paying €40m for a Palermo player who had made thirteen goals. You are scared.”

There have been reports of an argument between Dybala and Juventus’ manager Massimiliano Allegri following the latter’s decision to not play him in the Serie A game against Parma.
