The England Cricket Board (ECB) is considering recalling Adil Rashid for the five-match Test series against India.

Adil Rashid and Moren Ali have been sensational with the ball in the limited overs leg against India. They had a huge impact on the game.
Both the bowlers bowled tight line and lengths and did not give away anything. By building pressure, they were also successful in scalping a number of Indian wickets.
Adil Rashid dismissed Virat Kohli twice in the ODI series. In the last match the way he knocked out his off stump spoke volumes about the quality of bowling.
Rashid had decided to quit Test cricket in order to focus on white ball cricket. Although the move seems to be working, the ECB now wants him to be back in the Test setup. Rashid has not given his confirmation in clear terms but he has indicated towards the fact that he may be willing to come back from retirement.

“At this moment in time I’m just concentrating on white-ball cricket,” he said. “But in the meantime if something comes about I’ll be happy,” the leggie said.
England coach Trevor Bayliss seemed optimistic about the decision.
“That’s a decision Adil’s got to make. I’m not sure whether Ed Smith’s had a chat with him or not. Could he get picked in the Test team on white-ball form? Well, it’s already happened once this year. So, look, I’m sure he’ll be up for discussion, definitely.
“This year is probably the best we’ve seen him bowl. He’s bowled well in one-day cricket over the last few years but his control and his consistency this year has been top class and probably the best I’ve seen him bowl since I’ve been here,” the coach said.
It would be interesting to see if Rashid finds a place in the side and how Indian batsmen face him. Given the conditions in England will be dry, the ball will grip a little bit which will make for an interesting contest.
