Eden Hazard injury news: Zinedine Zidane confirms injury to former Chelsea Superstar ahead of their round of 16 UCL clash with Man City.
Real Madrid suffered only their second loss of the season in the La Liga. However, it was enough to surrender the top spot to eternal rivals Barcelona. Their trip to the Ciutat de Valencia ended in a 1-0 win for Levante.

Having drawn 2-2 with Celta Vigo last Sunday, Los Blancos have now dropped 5 points in their last 2 matches. This is worrying for a side that is set to face Manchester City in the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.
Real Madrid confirm Eden Hazard injury
The situation is made worse by the fact that Zidane looks likely to be without Eden Hazard as he provided yet another injury news at the conclusion of the match.
“Hazard got hit on his bad ankle,” Zidane told his post-match press conference.
“He has been hit in the ankle from the injury. We’ll have to do tests but it looks bad.”
His concerns have since been confirmed by Real Madrid with the club announcing on their website that Hazard has suffered a hairline fracture of his right fibula. However, the club did not mention how long they expect the winger to be out for.

The Spanish heavyweights are set to host Premier League champions Manchester City this week before taking on Barcelona. It is almost certain that Zidane will be without the Belgian’s service for these two important encounters.
Hazard made his dream move from Chelsea to Real Madrid last summer. However, he has since failed to make a similar impact at his new club; spending more time in the medical room than he has on the field. In fact, he has only made 15 appearances this season, with their last match being only his second since his return from an injury he sustained back in November.
