Gonzalo Higuain has dropped a huge hint on Eden Hazard’s potential move to Real Madrid.

Eden Hazard produced one of the best performances in Chelsea’s shirt by bagging a brace against West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Monday. The Blues beat the hammers 2-0, courtesy to their Belgian star’s goals in each half, but they could lose their star in the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid made a move for the 28-year-old last summer, but the new manager Maurizio Sarri insisted him to stay at the club. However, the Italian could be dealt with a huge blow as Zinedine Zidane has made Eden Hazard his priority this summer as the Blues will have to grapple with the Los Blancos to keep their star.

Gonzalo Higuain, who previously played for Real Madrid between 2007 and 2013, has dropped a huge hint on Hazard’s potential move to Santiago Bernabeu this summer. The Argentine International was asked about his teammates’ move and the former Los Blancos striker said that it would be too hard to stop someone with the burning desire to move to a particular side.

“What can I tell you? Those are things that involve the club executives and the desire of the player,” the ex-Real Madrid forward said. “When a player has a desire, it is difficult to change his mind.”

Talks over a contract extension which would make him Chelsea’s highest-paid player ever have stalled, and, with just a year left on his deal, Chelsea could be forced into selling but Higuain hopes Hazard will remain at the club.

“He is one of the best [in the world],” Higuain said. “It is obvious that, when he is at this level, he gives you points, he gives you goals and the truth is that it is a great asset to have him with us.”

“Here what matters is Eden’s decision and the decision of the board. I cannot do anything. He has not asked me [about life in Madrid] but if it’s what makes him happy, I wish him the best. I hope he can stay.” said Higuain.

Gonzalo Higuain, who is on loan from Juventus till the end of the season is hopeful about staying at Stamford Bridge although the Blues have been hit with a transfer ban.
