ENG vs PAK Dream11 Prediction : England vs Pakistan Best Dream 11 Team for 2nd Test Match

ENG vs PAK Dream11 Prediction: England vs Pakistan 2nd Test – 13 August 2020 (Southampton). Hosts England will take on Pakistan in the 2nd test match of the three-match Test series. The first match was a thriller and we can expect something similar in this game too.

Hosts England made a brilliant comeback in the last game and won an almost impossible game. Chris Woakes was very good in the last game with both bat and the ball and will be the main all-rounder in this game too in the absence of Ben Stokes. Ben Stokes will miss the rest of the series due to his family commitments.

England’s batting has to fire and especially Joe Root who has not been in a great form lately. England can make a couple of changes in this game with Stokes being the forced one and Anderson can also make his way in this game. Zak Crawley and Sam Curran can find their place in the playing 11.

Pakistan did a blunder in the last game and lost the almost certain game for them. Pakistan’s batting choked in the 2nd innings and their bowlers could not get the job done too. Shan Masood scored hi 3rd consecutive test century and he would like to replicate his performance whereas Babar is also a solid player. Fawad Alam can make his way into the team to make the batting attack stronger in this game.

Teams are looking really similar on paper and the one who will bat well will win this game.

England vs Pakistan Pitch Conditions and Toss

Ageas Bowl pitch is horrible for batting on the last day of the game and the spinners also come into play. The winning captain would be tempted to bat first in this game.

Probable Playing 11

England: Rory Burns, Dominic Sibley, Zak Crawley, Joe Root, Ollie Pope, Jos Buttler (WK), Sam Curran, Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer, Stuart Broad, Dominic Bess.

Pakistan: Abid Ali, Shan Masood, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq, Mohammad Rizwan, Fawad Alam, Yasir Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Abbas.

ENG vs PAK Dream11 Wicket-Keepers

Jos Butler will be our wicket-keeper in this game. Butler played a knock to remember in the last game and he would definitely want to capitalize on it in this game as well. He would like to improve his keeping in this game though.

ENG vs PAK Dream11 Batsmen

Ollie Pope and Joe Root will our batsmen from the England side. Pope has been showing his potential for a long time now and he is becoming a consistent player too. Pope’s technique is perfect for test cricket and he will be an asset in this game as well whereas Root has not been in the greatest of forms but he is a wonderful player and will be a part of our team in this game as well.

Babar Azam and Shan Masood will our batsmen from the Pakistan side. Babar looked brilliant in the 1st innings of the last game and proved his class. His technique was solid and he would want to play a bigger inning in this game whereas Shan was absolutely brilliant and scored his 3rd consecutive test century and he gave an example of how to play the new ball in the swinging conditions. Both of them will play a big part in this game as well.

ENG vs PAK Dream11 All-Rounders

Sam Curran and Chris Woakes will be our all-rounders from the England side. Woakes has been the underrated assassin of the team and has been taking a lot of crucial wickets for the team and he was brilliant with the bat as well in the last game. He will lead the all-round attack in the absence of Ben Stokes whereas Curran is also expected to play this game and his left-arm seam bowling is tough for any batsmen to pick. He is a very good batsman as well. Both of them will be in our team.

ENG vs PAK Dream11 Bowlers

From England, Stuart Broad will make it into our team. Broad was on fire against the West Indies and picked 16 wickets in just a couple of games, he was the highest wicket-taker of the series and he was brilliant in the last game against Pakistan as well. He cannot be dropped.

From Pakistan, the deadly trio of Yasir Shah, Mohammad Abbas, and Shaheen Afridi make it into the team. Shah picked eight wickets in the last game and the pitch of Southampton will definitely assist him too whereas Abbas was the best pacer of the side and his line & length are always wicket-taking. Afridi is a genuine threat as well and with the new ball in this hand, he will be a deadly bowler. This trio should be picked.

Captain and Vice-Captain

The duo of Chris Woakes and Babar Azam will be our captain and vice-captain in this game respectively.
