ENG-W Vs SWE-W Dream 11 prediction: Dream 11 fantasy tips for England Vs Sweden for Women FIFA World Cup 2019

England Vs Sweden Dream11 Prediction: The SportsRush brings you the Dream11 between England and Sweden.

The Women’s World Cup 2019 is set to end with the USA and the Netherlands booking their place in the final. The two nations knocked out England and Sweden respectively in the Semifinals. Now it is upon England and Sweden to decide the 3rd best team of the cup.

Sweden have already faced the finalists of the competition in the group stages of the World Cup, where they lost 2-0. They also lost 1-0 to the Netherlands in the Semi-Finals. England, on the other hand, topped their group and were unbeaten until they faced the defending Champions, USA.

England Vs Sweden Dream11 Team

Formation: 3-5-2

GOALKEEPER

Hedvig Lindahl: I’ve selected Swedish goalkeeper Hedvig as my keeper for this match. She’s been in prime form and has accumulated 40 points in the contest, more than any other goalkeeper. She has very good reflexes and is an excellent diver.

DEFENDERS

Linda Sembrant: 32-year-old Sembrant had a peach of a tournament before facing the Netherlands in the Semis. She had one goal and an assist as a centre half and her ability to ping in long balls also accounted for 5 key passes she created in 6 games.

Lucy Bronze: Inarguably the best right back of the tournament, Bronze is explosive on the wing. Her contributions in that position include 1 goal and 2 assists in 6 starts for England, including the absolute missile against Norway. The Lyon defender is freakishly accurate with her crossing and layoffs and has given 10 key passes in the bout.

Stephanie Houghton: The England team is studded with amazing Manchester City players, and Houghton happens to be of this group. As a centre half, she’s incredibly fast and good with the ball on her feet. She’s started all games for England and has contributed not only in the form of impeccable defence but a goal, too, against Cameroon. She did face some bad luck against the USA where she missed a penalty and the chance for her team to get back into the game.

MIDFIELDERS

Francesca Kirby: Originally a striker by skill and trait, Kirby has been playing as an attacking midfielder or second striker for England in the competition. Despite playing out of position, the 26-year old’s ability to find a pass makes her very difficult to defend against. She’s created 10 goalscoring chances for her teammates but unfortunately for the team, only one has been converted into a goal.

Jill Scott: Jill plays as a central midfielder who functions as a Box to Box midfielder for her club Manchester City and country. She has a similar profile to male counterpart Ivan Rakitic – An eye for a pass, ability to shoot accurately and moving up and down the pitch. Her goal vs Norway was the opener of that game, and remains her only goal in the cup.

Kosovare Asliani(VC): Fair to say Asliani has been Sweden’s best player so far in the Women’s World Cup. She features at attacking midfield in the 4-2-3-1 where her role is that of a classic 10. The 29-year-old has scored twice and given two assists in 6 starts. She’s also been their creative engine, giving 17(!) key passes.

Lina Hurtig: Hurtig is quick, agile and had got a great shot in her. She cuts in from the left to curl one in the corner. She scored against Thailand in Sweden’s second game in the cup.

Caroline Seger: Captain of Sweden’s team, Seger starts as a deep-lying playmaker in a double pivot for France. She’s an excellent passer of the ball, and can find space between players to put the ball into. Her experience at a top club like Olympique Lyonnais means that she’s ready for a big game like this.

FORWARDS

Madelen Janogy: Janogy usually comes off the bench for Sweden and plays in the striker position. She came off in the last 10 minutes vs Chile in their first game of the group and scored in the 90th min to add a second for her team. She’s a super substitute and could be very helpful against England.

Ellen White(C): One of the best players in the tournament, White is absolutely unplayable in the current form. She’s also the top scorer of the tournament with 6 goals, level with Alex Morgan. She’s scored in all games she’s played. Despite having one of the best defensive records in World Cup history, Ellen was a handful for even the USA. She’s my captain for the game and it next to impossible that she won’t score again.
