Eric Dier to Aaron Ramsey: After the touchline brawl involving several players from Arsenal and Tottenham, this is what Dier told Ramsey.

Arsenal won the first North London derby convincingly under Unai Emery, as they defeated Tottenham 4-2. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the star of the night as he scored a brace, while Lacazette gave the lead in the second half.

Lucas Torreira marked his first goal for Arsenal since joining the club in the summer with a brilliant goal from a relatively difficult angle.

Earlier, Tottenham led at halftime through two quick goals from Eric Dier and Harry Kane, but failed to build on the momentum in the second half.

The evening also saw a touchline brawl in the aftermath of Eric Dier’s ‘shush’ celebration, as the Arsenal substitutes on the touchline didn’t take the celebration well.

Eric Dier to Aaron Ramsey:

Eric Dier turned to Arsenal fans after scoring the goal in the 30th minute of the game and put his forefinger on his lips, seemingly telling the Gunners’ fans to be quiet. The celebration didn’t go down well with the Arsenal players who were warming up on the touchline.

A fight ensued as almost all the players gathered. Mauricio Pochettino was seen running towards the scene of the fight to calm the things down between both sets of players.

After the things calmed down due to the interference of the manager and the referee Mike Dean and his assistants, Eric Dier turned to say something to Aaron Ramsey.

It was a rather funny remark by Eric Dier, who took his parting shot at the Welshman. He screamed at Ramsey, “Sit back down!”

Here’s the video:

It proved costly for Dier, however, as Ramsey came on at the beginning of the second half and assisted two goals as Arsenal completed a remarkable comeback to win 4-2.

Fans also noticed Eric Dier telling Ramsey to go to the bench:

Arsenal completed a remarkable turnaround in the game as they came from a goal down at halftime to win 4-2. Lucas Torreira was adjudged the man of the match for his yet another excellent display in the midfield.

Arsenal will now take on Manchester United in the mid-week game on Wednesday. The spirits at Old Trafford are fairly low after the side was held to yet another draw by relegation-threatened side Southampton.

The Gunners, meanwhile, entered the top-4 with the win over Tottenham, while Pochettino’s side has slipped to 5th position in the league despite being at third in the beginning of the weekend. Chelsea won their game against Fulham, which resulted in Spurs falling out of the top four.
