Ernesto Valverde talks about a potential return for Neymar
Neymar’s shocking exit last summer left a very sour taste in the mouths of Barcelona fans worldwide For a club that prides itself on being, ‘More than a Club’, Neymar’s protracted transfer saga ruptured his previously excellent relationship with the Barcelona fans.
The jury is still out on Neymar’s world record move though, as PSG’s elimination from the Champions League was no doubt a huge blow to the Parisian club.
Neymar missed the second leg through injury, and is now trying his best to come back in time for the World Cup in just a couple of months from now.

Recently, Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde spoke about the rumours of a potential return for Neymar at the club.
“I dont know where that’s come from or where that’s going to end. Let’s not talk about assumptions.”
Valverde also spoke about Dembele’s unhappiness over his minutes.
“Of course he needs to play, we need to see if he’s going to be in the team tomorrow. We have high expectations of him as a player.
“Dembele is a player who likes to take people on, he’s a dribbler, he likes to break into space, he has skill with both feet, there’s a lot of virtues. Yes, maybe at certain times he needs to sharpen his technique, but he’s 20 years old and these are things that you fine tune over time.
“We’re fairly confident that with experience and time he will perfect those areas that come with experience really, that’s our expectation.”
