F1 fan comes up with the best strategy for Ferrari to beat Mercedes next season
Ferrari will need to step up their game in the 2019 season, if they are to have any chance of knocking Mercedes off their perch.
Mercedes have now won 5 back-to-back titles and a lot of it has had to do with their package and how Lewis Hamilton has consistently delivered for the team.
While Ferrari did improve by leaps and bounds this season, delivering a good enough package, in the end it just wasn’t enough.

Ferrari apparently had the superior package and car for more than half of the season, but Vettel couldn’t really take advantage, with Hamilton and Mercedes just hanging in there, whilst upgrading their car back home.
In the second half of the season, Mercedes had the better overall package and Hamilton did take advantage of it, driving error free and winning his 5th World title.
Now, the major difference between Ferrari and Mercedes presently is how error free Hamilton has been.
Vettel is highly skilled but doesn’t really perform well under pressure, something that he will have to change if he is to win in a title fight against Hamilton.
While Vettel would work on his skill and mental toughness in the off season, a Ferrari fan has come up with the perfect strategy for Ferrari to win the 2019 title.

Lewis Hamilton is going to be the biggest thorn for Ferrari next season as well, as even if Ferrari manage to provide Vettel(and Leclerc) with a fast enough package, Hamilton’s ruthlessness and killer instinct is second to none.
