After Facing Crushing Defeat, Determined Max Verstappen Takes His $12,000,000 Private Jet to Get Him Set to Plan His Resurgence

Max Verstappen saw his dominant streak of ten consecutive wins in F1 come to an end in Singapore. After a tough weekend from start to finish, Verstappen and his team will be looking to get back to winning ways at the next race weekend. With Japan up next, Red Bull is likely to get back to the top because of the Suzuka circuit suiting their car. Thus, the two-time defending world quickly set off for Japan in his $12,000,000 jet to start preparing for the upcoming race, as shown by X account ‘Max Verstappen’s Jet.’

In the post-race interview, Christian Horner exuded confidence while talking about their plans for the Suzuka race. Horner believes the track will suit their car much more and that they will once again be back on the podium. With Horner’s statements adding to Verstappen’s morale, the Dutchman would be keen on adding another win to his tally, as the runaway championship leader will be looking to make amends for all that went wrong in Singapore.

Max Verstappen is already in Japan to prepare for the next race

Preparations for the race weekend in Japan are well underway within the Red Bull camp, as championship leader Max Verstappen left for Suzuka just moments after the Singapore GP ended. Looking to kill the ghosts of the Singapore race as soon as possible, Verstappen headed off to Johor Bahru in Malaysia, from where he took off for Japan.

According to the tracking details shared by the X user, Verstappen’s private jet touched ground in the Japanese prefecture of Chiba early Monday morning (JST). With Suzuka nearly being 413km (256 miles) away from Chiba, the jet made another stop in Narita a little while later.

Verstappen leaving early for Japan could also be indicative of a potential commercial commitment, given his partnership with Honda. Nonetheless, the Dutchman’s primary focus would be on the race in Japan, which could also prove to be difficult for him.

McLaren looking to cause an upset in Japan

After an impressive showing in Singapore by Lando Norris, Alex Brundle revealed during the post-race show that McLaren and Norris will be faster than ever in Japan. The F1 commentator revealed McLaren will receive their latest upgrade pack during the race weekend in Japan. He also believes McLaren will be able to win at least one race before the 2023 season ends, and the race in Suzuka might be it. As such, both Norris and Piastri could serve to be potential thorns in Verstappen’s road to recovery.

With Red Bull reportedly having stopped further developments to the RB19, the final few races of the season could serve to be some of the most entertaining races in the last two years. As other teams continue to develop and improve their cars, the bells of competition are starting to ring, and we could have an exciting finish to what has been a record-breaking season.
