Charles Leclerc Once Confused Batman With Superman as He Revealed His Favourite Superpower

Charles Leclerc is currently one of the most popular drivers in F1 and his social media following is a testament to the same. The Monegasque has over 10.6 million followers on Instagram alone and another 2.5 million on Twitter.

Since he has such a high following, fans constantly post old videos and different kinds of news about him. One old video of Leclerc that has resurfaced shows a moment when the Ferrari driver hilariously interchanged the identities of Batman and Superman.

‘Because he can fly’: Leclerc reveals his favorite superhero

When asked to name his favorite superhero and provide the reason for the same, Charles Leclerc replied, “Probably Batman because he can fly. I wish I could”. On being corrected that Batman cannot fly, the Monegasque replied, “Oh yes, sorry Superman”.

Even though the Monegasque driver seemingly made a silly blooper, his loving fans seemed to ignore that. Instead, many explained how ‘cute’ he is, while others simply stated that they loved him.

Charles Leclerc has a poor start to the 2023 F1 season

Charles Leclerc has had an extremely poor start to the new F1 season as he has just scored six points after the first three races. All of his points came in Saudi Arabia thanks to his seventh-place finish.

Meanwhile, in both his other two races in Bahrain and Australia, he had a DNF. Leclerc failed to finish the Bahrain GP due to a power unit issue, while his race ended prematurely in Australia after he collided with Lance Stroll on the very first lap of the race.

Consequently of these poor results, Leclerc finds himself 14 points behind his Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz and a whopping 63 points behind championship leader Max Verstappen. Since the 25-year-old has had such a poor start to the new season, he will now hope to produce a comeback in the next race in Baku.
