Shocking rumors have emerged in the last 24 hours with several fans claiming that reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet have broken up. Piquet, who has a daughter with ex-F1 driver Daniil Kvyat, reportedly began dating Verstappen in late 2020.
The couple announced their relationship on New Year’s Day in 2021 and have been officially dating each other since then. However, as per several F1 fans, their 2.5-year relationship has now come to an end, with some spreading wild rumors that Piquet is now dating Mercedes F1 driver George Russell.

Meanwhile, some fans such as Ricciardo Laughs seemed to enjoy this rumor as they began celebrating that ‘Verstappen is free from Kelly Piquet’.

And then there were some fans such as Grindset who went to the extent of hilariously claiming that Piquet is now dating George Russell. Moreover, they also created a dedicated fan page for this and uploaded carefully edited images of Russell alongside Piquet.

Verstappen made headlines when he announced his relationship with Piquet in 2021
Max Verstappen made headlines when he and Kelly Piquet announced their relationship in 2021 because of the latter’s dating history. Prior to dating Verstappen, Piquet was in a relationship with Daniil Kvyat, who was ironically replaced by the Dutchman at Red Bull in 2016.
Because of the way this scenario panned out, several fans took to Twitter and mocked Kvyat. However, with more than three years having passed since Piquet and Kyvat split, both have since moved on.
Piquet is now on the corner of Verstappen and has also visited the Red Bull garage on various occasions to support her boyfriend. On the other hand, Kvyat is now solely focused on his racing career and is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
