Eifel Grand Prix 2020: 20,000 tickets for the F1 race at Nurburgring on sale, how to buy it?

Eifel Grand Prix 2020: Nurburgring has announced 20,000 tickets to be on sale for the F1 race making a comeback in the F1 2020 Calendar.

The Nurburgring F1 Circuit has announced the sale of 20,000 tickets for the Eifel Grand Prix from 9-11 October. This will be a huge boost to Formula 1 striving to recover from the coronavirus pandemic. The managing director of the circuit, Mirco Markfort called it an important step to give fans an opportunity to watch the spectacle live.

“It is important to us in the first stage to offer tickets in different price categories. Of course, in times of COVID-19 and the enormous personnel and planning effort this entails, everything is a question of cost. But it’s also about giving all fans the opportunity to secure tickets and enjoy the race safely“

Nurburgring is one of six circuits making a comeback/debut in the F1 2020 Calendar. Last weekend’s race at Mugello had invited 2,000 spectators to the circuit. Additionally, Sochi has plans to invite 30,000 fans to the race next weekend for the Russian Grand Prix. And the Turkish Grand Prix at Istanbul Park has already sold over 40,000, with the circuit making a comeback.

How to buy tickets for the Eifel Grand Prix?

The ticket sales will be released in batches, on the basis of grandstands. The first phase will cover the grandstands at Turn 3, 4a and 5b. The ticket prices start at 199 Euros for the three-day extravaganza.

A lot of safety protocols will be in place, including mandatory face masks. Apart from this, individual car parks will also be available. Most significantly, a “visitor guidance system” will be put in place to prevent fans from meeting each other.
