“Every Tongue That Rises Against…” Lewis Hamilton Fans Slam Carlos Sainz With “Karma” Over His Monaco GP Radio

Lewis Hamilton fans have recently hit out at Carlos Sainz after his radio exchange with his engineer during the Monaco Grand Prix. Sainz, who had no interest in fighting Hamilton, delivered those messages, which in turn ignited the fans.

Sainz, who wasn’t racing Hamilton in the entire race, had to stop Ocon from getting to the podium. But in the end, Ocon managed to hold on to the P3, but Sainz moved from P4 to finish in a low P8, as the Prancing Horse gambled with the strategy again.

Even though they did not fail miserably like last year, yet another double stacking made them lose a couple of positions. Sainz lost out to the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell in the end.

As Sainz finished behind Hamilton, things have taken a different turn. This tempted the LH44 fans to bring out the “Karma” angle for ‘disrespecting’ the seven-time world champion, similar to Perez on Saturday.

Hamilton fans slammed Sainz

As soon as the 28-year-old’s radio message to his race engineer was broadcasted, the British driver’s fans took to the internet and called out the Spaniard.

Given below are some of the reactions taken from Twitter:

A fan named Buc Nasty pointed out what happens when someone talks against Hamilton.

The username dearlews had to say that Sainz was served by Karma.

A user named Sera V Day found Sainz’s annoyance with Ferrari’s strategy amusing.

What happened between Sainz and Hamilton in Monaco?

As the race rolled out, the Ferrari driver was in a direct race with Ocon. Sainz, who started the race from P4, wanted to cover the Frenchman by taking the early pit. However, as he failed to do it, with Ocon just getting past him, he was furious on the radio.

The 28-year-old race engineer mentioned that they were racing the Mercedes star, and not Ocon. He said, “The target was to cover Hamilton. Hamilton one second behind.” Sainz didn’t agree with this as he wanted to go for Ocon, not defend Hamilton behind.

Hearing this, the former McLaren driver raged, and said, “I don’t care about Hamilton.” And it was followed by “That was fuc*ing weak.” Admittedly, Carlos Sainz didn’t like the idea of defending Hamilton, not pushing Ocon by his team.
