The 2023 Formula One season is set to begin next week with multiple rookie drivers and shuffles among the team principals. Aside from the chaotic 2022 silly season that caused a shuffle in the drivers market, team principals too had their own silly season.
The 2022 seas0n did bring in lots of changes to the car. It took teams plenty of time to adapt to the cars and there was a radical shift in the garage as well.
It was a successful season for a few of the teams while the others will wait for the 2023 season to be hopeful. That is essentially why there are changes in the management of the teams already.

What led to the changes in the new F1 team senior management?
Ferrari had an awful season when it came to their race strategies. The Scuderia had the chance to help Charles Leclerc win the championship but the in-race decisions did not help.
Hence, Mattia Binotto left the team and was replaced by Fredric Vasseur who was Alfa Romeo’s team principal for the past 5 years. Andreas Seidl moved to the Alfa Romeo team as their CEO from McLaren.
Replacing Seidl in McLaren, Andrea Stella got promoted to the role of team principal. Stella has been with the McLaren team since the 2015 season.
Since Alfa Romeo has appointed Seidl as their CEO, they have chosen a team representative instead of a team principal for the 2023 season. The role of team representative of Alfa Romeo has been given to Alessandro Alunni Bravi.

Mercedes and Red Bull have a strong team bonding since they have stuck with the same team principal for a really long time. AlphaTauri and Haas too have decided to continue with their current team principal for the upcoming season.
