Ferrari Converts Charles Leclerc as Fans Believe Only God Can Save the F1 Championship Hopeful

Charles Leclerc has had a disastrous start to the 2023 season as he currently finds himself seventh in the championship. What has been extremely disappointing about his start to this season is that just a few months ago, he celebrated finishing second in the championship to Max Verstappen.

And as Leclerc’s struggles continue this season, he has supposedly turned to religion. He has done so despite stating as a child that he did not believe in God.

Ten years on since he made those remarks, a 25-year-old Leclerc recently met a priest. The priest told him that he would pray for the Monegasque and Ferrari to rediscover their lost form again.

That’s what Ferrari does to you“: Fans react as Leclerc meets a priest

Since Charles Leclerc recently met a priest despite having stated as a child that he did not believe in God, some fans took this as an opportunity to mock Ferrari. Fans such as Debjit wrote, “That’s what Ferrari does to you“.

Meanwhile, some other fans such as Fio requested the priest to help Leclerc get rid of “all the bad luck“.

On similar lines, fans such as Sylec prayed for Leclerc.

And then there were fans such as Clara who pointed out about how the priest put out five consecutive posts about Leclerc on his social media handle.

Charles Leclerc provides worrying remarks about Ferrari’s recent struggles

Despite finishing a fantastic second in the world championship last year, Charles Leclerc has struggled massively this season. Other than the podium he clinched in Baku, the Monegasque has just one other top five finish this season from the first eight races of the 2023 season.

Since Leclerc has had such a huge dip in form from last season, the primary question that arises is about why he is suddenly struggling so much. And to make things worse for Ferrari is that they themselves do not have much idea about why they have been so poor.

While speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the Canadian GP last week, Leclerc said, “We need to understand these things and for now we don’t have the reasons. This is a little bit more worrying and that’s where we need to push and try to understand the reasons of it because obviously the feeling was really bad“.

After making these remarks, Leclerc concluded by stating that the performance of Ferrari has been far below expectations this season. And the gap to the top clearly reflects that. After the first eight races, Ferrari currently find themselves in fourth place in the championship with just 122 points.

They are 32 points behind third-placed Aston Martin and a whopping 199 points behind leaders Red Bull. Considering how poor their start to the season has been, Leclerc and Ferrari will now hope to produce a better performance in the upcoming races.
