"First day for Fred Vasseur and he has to see this": F1 Twitter goes berserk after watching Charles Leclerc mountain climbing amidst poor weather condition

In the off-season, away from 330km/h speed, F1 drivers usually miss the adrenaline rush they get from the F1 cars. Several drivers take up adventure sports during this phase to fill the vacuum. And now even Charles Leclerc is not away from it.

After being spotted skiing, when he reportedly didn’t even know how to ski, Leclerc’s video of mountain climbing on thick sheets of ice appeared on his Instagram story.

The Monegasque can be seen clinging to a harness while it’s snowing wildly. To do this adventure, he should have taken consent after several requests to Mercedes. Otherwise, he’ll be in trouble.

F1 Twitter gets berserk seeing the adventures of Charles Leclerc

After the video came out, several F1 fans on Twitter commented online how these photos and videos must be giving a hard time to the new team boss Frederic Vasseur.

The social media post by Leclerc had several of his fans’ hearts in their mouth. Many even mentioned how they wanted him to get down. The fan reaction has been pretty worrisome.

This is not the first time Leclerc has gone on a mountain trip. In 2018, he went to Auron with his brother,, but it was way more subtle than what he posted on his Instagram.

Aiming for the championship in 2023

In 2022, Ferrari was vying for the championship. Charles Leclerc was the main contender for their campaign. However, he fell short against Max Verstappen in the middle of the season.

By the end of the season, he was only safeguarding his runner-up position against Sergio Perez, who was gaining positions at a very high rate. In the final race, the Monegasque safeguarded his P2 in the standings by only one second.

Next season, Leclerc would again be going to eye for the championship. But will Ferrari manage to upscale their challenge next season? That remains to be seen.
