Last year, Lewis Hamilton might have garnered more media attention because of his personal life than his racing exploits. Rumors emerged that the Briton was perhaps dating Shakira shortly after the first quarter of the year. However, by the end of the year, Brazilian model Juliana Nalu was linked with him. Following that, it has been rumored that the Mercedes driver has now been seeing Irina Shayk, the love interest of NFL star Tom Brady.
Brady and Shayk first met in July 2023, but as of October, it appears that they are no longer together. It was Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s divorce in 2022 that marked the beginning of Shayk’s relationship with the NFL star. Additionally, based on claims from people, the couple initially connected during the wedding of millionaire Joe Nahmad.
The pair continued their romance over the next several months, but in October, an insider source claimed that the short-lived affair had kind of just fizzled out. Subsequently, there were rumors that Hamilton might be dating the model.
However, an individual close to Shayk has refuted reports suggesting she had started dating Hamilton. As per Pagesix, the pal said, “[Hamilton and Shayk] have been friends for years! Nothing is happening.” Previously, Shayk and Hamilton gave rise to speculations of their romance after being spotted together in Paris.
Interestingly, this occurred four days following her time in New York with Brady. Additionally, the source close to Shayk has since entirely laughed off the connection and called them great friends. Moreover, the pal went on to explain that they had been friends for 13 years and have supported each other.
Tom Brady showers praise on Lewis Hamilton
Both Lewis Hamilton and Tom Brady have been the greats of their respective sports. While Hamilton has claimed seven world titles in Formula 1, Brady has also won the same number of championships in the NFL. Both Hamilton and Brady have immense respect for one another.
The NFL star once expressed his admiration for the Mercedes star’s longevity in an interview with Vanity Fair. In reference to Hamilton, Brady emphasized that while many athletes can shine brightly for a few seasons, it takes a unique set of qualities and traits to maintain excellence over an extended period
Brady too is well known for his longevity. He himself announced his retirement at the age of 44 during an off-season. Amidst these events, speculation arose about Lewis Hamilton potentially bidding farewell to Formula 1, especially after a challenging 2022 season for him.
Nevertheless during this period, when Hamilton decided to continue racing, Brady expressed nothing but respect for the British driver. The former Tampa Bay quarterback said, “You create strategies and you execute under pressure in ways that other people can’t. I just think he probably sees lines on the track no one else can see.”
