Spanish websites have reported that Alonso has been seeing the pop icon for almost a week. But what fueled this rumor was the theory reaching the ears of Duexmoi– an anonymous gossip page on Instagram. Could Magic Alonso have really cast a spell on Swift?

It’s a bizarre visual to have, but it is safe to say that the two icons of their industries are not in a relationship. It is highly unlikely that they have ever crossed paths, let alone pursued something romantic.
So where are all these whispers coming from? It’s all just a big joke among the fans on Twitter. Fernando Alonso recently announced his breakup with long-time girlfriend Andrea Schlager. The F1 journalist and the champion had shared many moments on the paddock and had soon become a fan favorite.
A week later, rumors of Taylor Swift’s breakup with Joe Alwyn stormed the internet, and Swifties within the F1 community couldn’t help but laugh at the timing. Thus, it became a running joke as fans theorized the multiple songs that were actually just about Alonso and memes took over F1 Twitter.

While they would be a funny couple to sight strutting down the F1 paddock, it is all wishful thinking. While Fernando Alonso does have his killer good looks working for him, it’s doubtful they reached all the way to Taylor Swift.
