"It's too bad": $12 million worth Charles Leclerc didn't even invest in comfortable gaming chair to sit long hours for streaming

Charles Leclerc is one of the most popular drivers in F1. The Ferrari star has a huge fan following both on and off the track, with millions following him across his social media platforms. During the Covid 19 pandemic, he also spent a lot of time on Twitch, where he streamed games like F1.

Leclerc’s streams were fairly popular, and thousands of viewers tuned into his channel every time he went live. The Monegasque driver spent quite a fair amount of time in front of the screen, so one can assume that he had a comfortable set up but unfortunately for him, it wasn’t.

During a stream, Leclerc showed his fans the quality of the chair on which he sits while streaming. Almost all streamers have a gaming chair, which makes them comfortable but Leclerc only had a normal wooden chair, on which he kept a cushion while sitting.

“I need to buy a gamer chair,” Leclerc said on stream. “This is too bad. Oh my god, I’ve got a square a*s now. It’s not round anymore, it’s square.”

Charles Leclerc hopes that Ferrari improves their race pace in 2023

2022 was a year of contrasting emotions for Leclerc. The start of the year promised great things for him, and people considered him to be the favorite to win the drivers’ championship. However, Ferrari’s pace deteriorated as the campaign progressed, and he ended up losing the title to Red Bull driver and 2021 Champion Max Verstappen by quite a huge a margin.

Leclerc laments at the fact that the F1-75 had so much potential but could only do little. He blamed his team’s strategy, decision making and over all race for their failures in 2023, and hopes that they get past these in 2023.

“That wasn’t easy to manage knowing that the potential was in the car to do very well,” he said after the season finale in Abu Dhabi. Now we need to focus on finding a next step for the race pace because Red Bull seems to have found something that we don’t have for now.”
