Just Two Months After Taylor Swift Rumors, Fernando Alonso Spotted With A New Girl

Rumors of Taylor Swift dating two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso were strong in the news for well over a month. In the three-week break between the Australian GP and the Azerbaijan GP, there were several memes, jokes, and banter surrounding Alonso and Swift. Even other drivers and F1 commentators started referencing Swift when talking to or about Alonso.

Soon, however, those rumors were put to rest, when Swift was spotted with another man. As reported by The Sun, Swift is dating Matt Healy, who was present at their concert in Nashville last month. Now that Swift’s side of the potential relationship is put to rest, it is time we focus on Alonso.

Indeed, the Spaniard’s personal life is under the spotlight once again, after he was recently spotted with a new girl. The person who is reportedly involved with Alonso is Melissa Jiménez, a reporter for DAZN.

Pictures of Alonso hanging out with Jiménez were all over Twitter earlier this week. It seems as though Alonso has a past with the reporter’s dad, who works for Aprilia. They hosted Alonso as a guest in the past, which could mean that they knew each other since then. This is as per Aston Martin F1 Updates on Twitter.

Nothing about Alonso’s potential relationship with Jiménez is confirmed as of yet. Fans, and even journalists are speculating whether the 35-year-old is Alonso’s latest love interest. Matthew J. Thompson, shared the picture of the F1 legend and Jiménez on Twitter.

Alonso’s potentially new girlfriend was married to Spanish soccer star

Melisa Jiménez was married to former FC Barcelona and Spain defender Marc Bartra. Bartra, who has over a 100 appearances for the Catalan club, and is currently playing in Turkey, married Jiménez in 2017 but they separated in 2020.

Since then, she wasn’t involved in any serious relationships in public. Fans are waiting to see if this saga too ends like Alonso’s last one involving Swift. The 41-year-old hasn’t spoken about anything between them as of yet.
