“Killing the Sport”: Max Verstappen & Co.’s Spine-Chilling Advantage Strikes Fear Into Red Bull Rivals

Red Bull and Max Verstappen have long asserted their dominance on the 2023 grid after creating a beast of a challenger this season. The aerodynamic genius of Adrian Newey has created an intimidating perfect car, with a DRS system that is nearly God-like.

This other-worldly advantage was seen in the Azerbaijan GP, where Verstappen soared past race leader Charles Leclerc almost as if he could do it in his sleep.

The advantage that the already stealthy Red Bull has with the DRS is unbeatable. Just watching Verstappen so easily get past his rival had fans left with their mouths open.

What has now been dubbed the “triple DRS effect”, the Telemetry data revealed an astonishing speed advantage of 35km/h at the Saudi Grand Prix, which surpassed the traditional 20km/h lead. At the Azerbaijan GP? A whopping 30 km/h.

Their impressive aerodynamic strategy and superior aero efficiency play a significant role in this exceptional straight-line performance. This has sparked some doubt among spectators, who wonder if they may be resorting to underhanded tactics to achieve it.

However, the truth of the matter is that their success is simply a byproduct of having a highly efficient car. As Lewis Hamilton put it, “I don’t know why or how, but he came past me with serious speed”.

Fans bow down to Max Verstappen-Red Bull dominance

Ferrari and Mercedes fans couldn’t help but look at the Red Bull performance with awe. And a tinge of hatred as well. The now unbeatable combination of Verstappen in a Red Bull has raised eyebrows everywhere.

Mercedes fans remained as angry as always. As the Milton Keynes outfit establish their dynasty, it has not been easy on the Mercedes fans.

The ESPN account even hailed Newey as the last air-bender. The credit does go to the mega mind, whose craftsmanship has produced this absolute beauty.

Despite Leclerc’s insane performance over the weekend, the Tifosi conceded that the victory could never be theirs to claim against the Red Bulls.

As the season continues, fans have rallied to change rules, investigate the team, and much more- anything to slow the damn Red Bulls down. This fan even blamed the dominance for “Killing the sport.”

Red Bull’s ability to take advantage of the DRS system is a testament to their car’s exceptional aerodynamic design. It’s not the result of any singular or deceptive trickery, but rather a culmination of a vehicle that’s been intricately connected aerodynamically. Let the reign continue!
