Lewis Hamilton and Angela Cullen Finally Close Their Chapter as Both Parties Move On
Lewis Hamilton painfully parted ways with his loyal blonde Angela Cullen, much to the dismay of fans around the world. Now it looks like any chances of a reunion on the F1 paddock have been swept aside, as both Hamilton and Cullen have found their new crew.
Three months after Cullen left the F1 paddock, she shared snaps of her with her new group. Cullen and Hamilton shared a championship-winning friendship- one that is rare in F1. Now, even Hamilton has found a replacement for Cullen, albeit only professionally. The dynamic shared by the two is unmatched.
Angela Cullen finds her tribe
Finding herself on a spiritual journey through Bali, Cullen is part of a group of individuals exploring wellness. Sharing a group photo of those joining her on this journey, she captioned the photo, “Some days you need your crew to get you through.”

While Hamilton and Olympian Miles Chamley-Watson were once this crew, having gone far from the world of F1, has helped Cullen make new friends.
It’s still an awkward sight, watching Hamilton strut down the paddock without Cullen by his side. However, he, too had to replace his trusty trainer with a new team to support him.

Around the Miami GP, Hamilton revealed his new setup owing to Cullen’s empty spot. The role is now being shared by two individuals. Hamilton explained, “The setup I have, right now, is great. One of the guys, Stevo, has been with me since my first race at McLaren… Otherwise, I’m working with someone on my training, Kylie. I have Santi here as well. I have Penni. I have a great support structure.”
Stevo, or Stephen Lord, was Hamilton’s old race team coordinator. Penni Thow is a talent manager for sports stars and media. She has been working with Hamilton for years.”
Lewis Hamilton misses his best friend
Hamilton has often stated that the two remain in touch with each other, and he misses her presence an awful lot. The champion had recently stated his plans to reunite with Cullen.
“She was a breath of fresh air for me every day., she was always a great help during the seven years we worked together. [She] was and still is a very good friend. In fact, we’re talking about getting together again and doing something together soon, like parachute jumping, maybe.”
Thus, while they may have found new people and are entering new chapters of their lives. However, this in no way means that their friendship has hit a wall.
