Lewis Hamilton once considered hiring Kris Jenner as his manager in Formula 1

Lewis Hamilton is a legend of F1 on track, and one of the most influential celebrities off it. He has a strong personality that has allowed him to make friends in some very important and famous places. He’s particularly popular among American celebrities, with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Tom Brady, and Serena Williams stating how big Hamilton fans they are.

However, Hamilton was also close to the Kardashian family once according to some reports. In 2016, Hamilton reportedly considered hiring Kris Jenner as his personal manager. Jenner, then 59, was the manager of the famous Kardashian family, who are known all over the world for their roles in the entertainment industry. Jenner managed the careers of her daughters Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, along with that Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

This was according to the Daily Mail, but as we know, this never went through. Hamilton did not hire Jenner as his manager. In fact, this was around the same time he hired Angela Cullen as his physiotherapist and personal assistant, and the two of them grew to develop a close friendship.

Lewis Hamilton carried Mercedes through difficult 2022 season, says Toto Wolff

2022 was a very underwhelming year for Mercedes. After dominating the sport for eight previous seasons, they had to endure an entire campaign where Red Bull and Ferrari were faster than them.

Hamilton too went through what was arguably his most difficult year in F1. Not only did he finish below his teammate George Russell, but the Brit also failed to win a race for the first time in a calendar year since making his debut in 2007. Heading into 2023, the Brackley-based outfit is more optimistic, but team boss Toto Wolff lauds Hamilton’s dedication throughout the last campaign.

“We all have our bad moments, and when one of us had it, then Lewis picked us up,” Wolff said to GP fans. I remember debriefings where he said afterwards, ‘Guys, let’s not be down. Let’s pick ourselves up. There is more to come, more to win. Let’s go!'”

“And the other way round. We keep supporting him when there is a tough session or a tough race as we had, so I would say spectacular team behavior.”
