Lewis Hamilton Sums Up LA Lakers Obliterating Golden State Warriors in Just Four Words

Lewis Hamilton was in attendance at the game between LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors on Friday, as his old friend LeBron James ended Stephen Curry’s championship dreams. After the match, Hamilton summed up the game, and his experience in just four words on Instagram.

Hamilton was one of the many celebrities present at the Cyrpto.com arena to watch the Lakers win. After the game, he posted a picture of him sitting in the front row, with the caption, “great game, great energy.” The energy was electric indeed at the home of the Los Angeles Lakers, as they reached their first Western Conference Finals since 2020, which was the year they won the crown.

The Lakers had been the better team for the majority of their series with the Golden State Warriors, and after taking a 3-1 lead, not many expected Curry and Co. to bounce back. Warriors did win their game at Chase Center on Wednesday to force a game six on Saturday, but their woes on the road this season continued.

Lakers, led by Hamilton’s friend LeBron James decimated the Warriors in game six, to move to the Western Conference Finals. They will now face the Denver Nuggets, the number-one seed in the Western Conference during the regular season.

Lewis Hamilton shifts from Team Curry to Team LeBron

The Golden State Warriors never looked like a championship-winning team in 2023 as admitted by coach Steve Kerr, but last year, they were the team to beat. Curry, along with his regular partners Draymond Green and Klay Thompson guided the Warriors to the NBA Finals where they defeated the Boston Celtics in four games.

After the Warriors’ win last year, Hamilton posted a story on his Instagram, account where he congratulated Curry, Green, Thompson, and Andre Iguodala for winning their fourth ring. However, after the Lakers beat them yesterday, Hamilton said, “Great night to be a Lakers fan.

It seems as though Hamilton has found a team to support in the NBA, as his good relationship with LeBron James turns him into a Lakers fan- at least for the time being.

Hamilton and LeBron James’ old friendship

Because of Hamilton’s global popularity, especially in the United States, he is good friends with some of the world’s biggest sports stars. In the past, we’ve seen him hang out with the likes of Tom Brady and Serena Williams. The 38-year-old is also close to LeBron James, a man he cites as an ‘inspiration’.

Like James, Hamilton is also 38 years old but showing no signs of slowing down. As reported by ESPN, Hamilton ‘doesn’t see an end’ to his F1 dream yet, because of how James works hard despite being relatively old.

Hamilton has won seven world championships till now, but is determined to win at least another to move clear of Michael Schumacher, before hanging up his helmets.
