The Miami GP attracted in a large influx of influencers and social media personalities who enjoyed the thrill of the race despite knowing very little about it. In the crowd was Mike Majlak, best friend and podcast co-host with Logan Paul. The vlogger took his fans through the unique experience of the Miami GP- one that saw him transform from knowing Lewis Hamilton to cheering for Max Verstappen.
The metamorphosis was rather remarkable. Introducing his fans to the event, Majlak confessed that he was completely new to the sport and knew nothing about it. “I don’t want to claim to be an F1 expert. I know a lot of people watching this right now, you know about every driver. All I know is Lewis Hamilton and like uh- Verstappen and sh*t like that.”
See you in Miami, @IWC . Looking forward to a fun one 🏖️☀️ pic.twitter.com/ho6ujwVDqv

Hamilton, an icon synonymous with F1, commands unparalleled popularity, especially in America. Thus, it’s no surprise Mike’s knowledge of the sport primarily revolved around the legend, who he also cheered for during the driver introductions at the event.
Lewis Hamilton’s loss is Max Verstappen’s gain
Although the podcaster with familiar with Hamilton at the beginning of the race, by the time the checkered flag waved, he roared another name- Max Verstappen. A fitting dialogue on the hit Hamilton has taken owing to Mercedes’ poor performance this season, Mike was quick to switch camps.
Watching Verstappen take a dominant victory at the circuit, Majlak screamed, “Max Verstappen! Unstoppable. The dude’s the best on the f*cking planet.”
Although this was one of Verstappen’s more sober races compared to the masterclass we usually see, it was enough to put his name on everyone’s lips. While the sport continues to find footing and grow across the pond, Verstappen has well-established himself as a man to look out for.
Logan Paul claims to overthrow Lewis Hamilton
Logan Paul had brought along Mike Majlak to the race in COTA last season but turns out the race in Miami was enough to convert. Paul, on the other hand, wanted to face the lights on track after the experience.
The vlogger, boxer, WWE wrestler, and actor now wants to add ‘F1 driver’ to that ever-growing list. Discussing Hamilton’s dominance in the sport, Paul came up with a game plan.

“Every single time it’s just Lewis dominating, and like, why? And the competitive side in me started looking at these guys go around these turns and going, ‘sh*t, I wouldn’t mind driving fast and going around turns.”
That might be a stretch. Despite Hamilton’s current struggles on the track, he remains the greatest driver in the sport’s history. If there’s anyone who can overthrow him, though, there’s only one. Max Verstappen.
