Max Verstappen’s girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, attends fashion shows and modeling in New York City. She is accompanied by her 3.5-year-old daughter Penelope, who joined her mother on her trip to the USA.
However, some of her followers were unhappy seeing the model make her old enough daughter roam around in a stroller meant for babies. Piquet was quite annoyed with the unsolicited parental advice, and the model hit back at the critics in a separate story.
Piquet responds after followers criticize her
Kelly Piquet and her daughter roamed around Big Apple with the Brazilian model sharing pictures of their adventures. However, some of her followers claimed her daughter was too old for a stroller. This prompted Max Verstappen‘s girlfriend to explain her situation in a separate Instagram story.
She shared a picture of her daughter and wrote, “I appreciate everyone’s concern about whether or not ‘P’ is too old to be in a stroller I’m probably speaking to people who don’t have kids, and if you’ve been to NYC you’d know that this city is all about walking.”
She added, “A 35-year-old most times can’t keep up with the mileage. So it’s either stroller or carry them in your arms when they are exhausted. I pick stroller.”
Piquet’s daughter makes an appearance in Max Verstappen’s stream
Penelope Kvyat is the daughter of Kelly Piquet and her ex, Danil Kvyat. However, Max Verstappen shares a lovely bond with the daughter of his girlfriend and former Red Bull driver. Piquet has shared a lot of pictures of the duo bonding.
Penelope, or ‘P’ as the Dutchman calls her appeared in one of his livestreams. The 3.5-year-old snuck up behind the Dutchman and hugged him while he was chatting with his friends.

The youngster had tried to hug the Red Bull driver while he was racing. However, the Dutchman’s nervousness made her rethink her action, and she chose to return later.
Verstappen even took the girl for her first karting adventure ahead of the start of the season. With the mentorship of the 2x world champion available, it seems like little ‘P’ will fare well if she decides to take up racing in the future.
