Mercedes warn Bahrain Track Circuit officials of not repeating mistake

Mercedes warn Bahrain Track Circuit officials of not repeating the same mistake done by the officials in Turkey, affecting the whole paddock.

The race is Turkey tested the drivers to their fullest, but the resurfacing of the track a few days before the final event did make things unnecessarily tough, with the track losing grip and propelling drivers to slip.

Similarly, Formula 1 is returning to Bahrain circuit and to avoid the same mistake as before, Mercedes has warned the officials at Bahrain to not repeat the mistake.

Though the warning was in light humour as it was the social media handle which blew out the words to make some amidst the week of inaction, while there is still the anticipation of the first race in Bahrain.

Funnily, the Bahrain International Ciruit also gave in to the banter and replied: “Hey @MercedesAMGF1 – Firstly, welcome back. Been a while. Hope you like what we’ve done to the place. Secondly, don’t worry. We’re quite happy with our Welsh granite thanks.”

Bahrain would be organizing a doubleheader this season, making it the third venue this season to do so after Speilberg, Austria and Silverstone, England.

The second race is probably going to smash the lap records, as it is speculated to have a time of less than a minute for an average Formula 1 car.

Bahrain going to shape the battle of third

With the championship going directly into the hands of Mercedes, and the 2nd place also confirmed by Red Bull, now the baton is with the third-place slot.

As four teams would be vying for the last prestigious spot, with racing Point currently taking the lead, followed by McLaren with a slim margin.

Meanwhile, Renault and Ferrari are also expected to give a fight. Therefore, a tough midfield battle will surely be exciting to witness.
