Mexican Politician Lashes Out at Red Bull for Making it Impossible for Sergio Perez to Win Against Max Verstappen

Mexican politician Alberto Tello de Meneses has lashed out at Red Bull for clearly favoring Max Verstappen over Sergio Perez. Meneses believes that Red Bull has marginalized Perez and made it almost impossible for him to beat the Dutchman.

Meneses put up a detailed post on his social media account to voice out his frustration against the Milton Keynes outfit and Helmut Marko in particular. He explained how neither Red Bull nor Marko are strangers to propaganda.

Meneses put up his recent post as a response to the comments that Marko recently made. The Red Bull advisor had recently given his take on Perez following the Mexican driver’s poor performances in Monaco and Spain.

Meneses has no doubt that Red Bull is favoring Max Verstappen over Sergio Perez

Taking to Twitter recently, Alberto Tello de Meneses put up a lengthy post to give his take on Helmut Marko’s recent comments. The 80-year-old had recently clarified rumors that suggested that Perez was in danger of losing his seat following the Mexican’s recent poor performances.

Marko made it clear that all rumors about Perez’s place being in danger are “nonsense“. Even though the Austrian voiced his support for Perez amid the Mexican driver facing severe criticism, Meneses does not seem too pleased. As a result, Meneses took to Twitter and delivered a scathing reply.

A snippet of Meneses’ post on Twitter read, “Directly attacking drivers has been with Marko for a long time and after his failure to make Max Verstappen the youngest world champion ever, he is now working on the following propaganda story: to make it clear that Sergio Pérez and Max Verstappen do have the same cars“.

Speaking of what Perez has to contend with, Meneses ended his post by writing, “He (Perez) is the first title contender who is facing a team that wants to limit him“. In the rest of his post, Meneses also went to the extent of stating that if it were not for Perez, then Verstappen may have never won the title in 2021.

Croft also raised concerns about favoritism in Red Bull

While covering the Miami Grand Prix a month ago, F1 expert David Croft provided a detailed account of how Red Bull was seemingly favoring Max Verstappen over Sergio Perez. Croft explained his point by describing the strange difference in the radio messages delivered to both drivers that ultimately helped Verstappen win the race over his teammate.

The 52-year-old stated that when it came to Perez, there was barely any message given to him about Verstappen’s pace. And when it came to Verstappen, his race engineer was constantly in touch with him to give him updates about the Mexican’s pace.

After explaining the difference in the radio messages delivered to both drivers, Croft ended his point by adding (as quoted by planetf1.com), “Perez has been out there, in a way, driving blind. It’s been very odd. A bit too quiet on his radio“.
