In 2022, Red Bull decided to boycott Sky Sports during the Mexico City GP weekend after Ted Kravitz offended Max Verstappen and Co. Now, one year later, things between the two parties are heating up once again after Red Bull team principal Christian Horner took yet another dig at Kravitz, as per GP Fans.
The 2021 F1 season finale produced one of the sport’s most controversial moments. Max Verstappen took the world title under incredible circumstances, fueled by then-race director Michael Masi’s questionable decision-making. Consequently, Lewis Hamilton lost out on championship number eight in heartbreaking fashion.
Because of this, a huge portion of the fanbase felt that Hamilton got robbed of the title. Kravitz, on live television, opined that he too thought the same. Verstappen, Horner, and Red Bull did not like what the Sky Sports analyst said. As a result, they decided to boycott the British company altogether, refusing to appear for any interviews.
Christian Horner and Ted Kravitz reignite their rivalry
Ahead of the 2023 Mexico City GP, Horner spoke about Kravitz once again. This was about something that the latter said recently, surrounding the RB19. He hinted at technical problems with the three-time world champion’s car.
As reported by GP Fans, Horner said, “Ted is always talking, but never with his mouth.”
To this, other Sky Sports pundits including Simon Lazenby showed their disappointment over Horner’s comments.
Horner, however, seemed frustrated at Kravitz’s comments, revealing that there was nothing wrong with Verstappen’s car. There were some issues control-wise that Verstappen wanted the team to work on. But, in terms of reliability, he was fine as evident by what was a perfect race weekend in Austin.
Max Verstappen cruises to race-win number 50
Verstappen, at just 26 years of age, has won 50 races in Formula 1. To win race number 50, however, the Dutch driver had to work harder than he has in most races this year. He started the race from P6 after a disappointing qualifying, but a good strategy combined with his sharp driving skills saw him take the win.

Red Bull is the most dominant team in F1 at the moment. Plus, the way things are going, it seems evident that the Milton-Keynes-based outfit will dominate F1 for years to come, at least until the new regulations kick in 2026 onwards.
Till then, Verstappen is widely expected to win a lot more races, and break several records.
