After an exciting Spanish Grand Prix two weeks ago, this weekend’s Canadian GP promises to be another cracking race. The star F1 drivers have already arrived in the vicinity, and the latest to do so is Ferrari’s, Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque yet again flexed his car collection by arriving in his McLaren GT hypercar, which is worth a whopping $800,000.
This is one of the many luxury cars that are a part of the 25-year-old’s $7 million garage. Some of the other cars that he owns include a $850,000 Ferrari GTC4, $590,000 Ferrari F8, $3 million Bugatti Chiron, and $1 million Rolls-Royce Wraith, among others.
Leclerc is believed to have bought the McLaren GT to add to his list of high-class hypercars. Unlike the other hypercars, McLaren GT stands out for its performance and comfort.
Fans are left in awe as Charles Leclerc arrives in his McLaren GT
As seen in the video below, Charles Leclerc arrived at a hotel in Montreal in his luxurious McLaren GT. This car has a maximum speed of 203 mph and can increase its speed from 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. And among all, what stands out most about this car is its striking appearance.

As soon as the Monegasque arrived outside the hotel, fans began chanting his name, and some also gathered around him for a picture. With Leclerc acknowledging the support of his fans, even his supporters felt overwhelmed.
Considering the sheer amount of support that Leclerc just got for his arrival, it only gives an impression of the kind of support he could get this weekend for the Canadian GP. Since Montreal is used to witnessing several Ferrari fans yearly, the 25-year-old and the rest of the team will likely get huge support. But will he be able to stand up to the exceeding expectations of his supporters?
Can Leclerc and Ferrari delight Canadian fans with a positive result?
Ferrari has had a disappointing start to the 2023 season as they currently find themselves fourth in the Constructors’ Championship, behind Aston Martin, Mercedes, and leaders Red Bull. While the Prancing Horse are still very much in the fight for second in the championship, they are far behind Red Bull.
And when it comes to the Drivers’ Championship for Charles Leclerc, the Monegasque has had a disastrous start to the new campaign. After finishing second in the championship last year, the 25-year-old is down in seventh place this season.
Leclerc has just scored 42 points, is 16 points behind his Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz, and a further seven points behind fifth-placed George Russell. However, what is startling is the 128-point gap between Leclerc and championship leader Max Verstappen, the two title rivals from last season.
The staggering gap between Leclerc and Verstappen indicates that Ferrari has missed expectations by a huge margin. At the start of the season, the Prancing Horse had expected to make a bigger step from last season and reduce the gap further to Red Bull, according to the BBC.
However, instead of reducing the gap to Red Bull, Ferrari seem to have fallen further behind not only Mercedes but now also Aston Martin. With Leclerc and Ferrari struggling this year, the Monegasque will hope to finish at least fifth in the championship, if not higher.
