"There are changes and you can feel the difference"- Max Verstappen shows little hope towards RB16B

“There are changes, and you can feel the difference”- Max Verstappen has a positive feeling from the new RB16B but holds judgement.

Max Verstappen, in recent years, has validated his talent and now aims to be a world title soon. However, Red Bull‘s deficit against Mercedes is not allowing him to take the full shot at the championship.

Going into 2021, Max Verstappen is ready to be back on the racing track to yet again take on the Mercedes duo, who have been dominating the sport.

“It’s always good to be back in the car. I like the break, but once you’re standing here and you see the car ready to go, you’re just itching to get back in, especially to get into a Formula One car.”

“The first time you go out of the pits is always such a great feeling. Now, I’m just looking forward to race weekends again”, Verstappen explains on Red Bull’s site.

At Silverstone, Red Bull drivers conducted their filming day, where they graced their new RB16B for the first time. Verstappen reveals his experience from the day.

“Initially, I started with the RB15 to get into it again after the break, to get a few laps in and then I jumped into the RB16B. It was a filming day, but it’s useful to get comfortable with the car,” he added.

“With the engine and trying to make things run smoothly and try to be the best prepared, you can be to go testing in Bahrain.”

I need to wait till Bahrain.

After riding the car at Silverstone, Red Bull doyen expresses satisfaction with the new product by his team. However, he wants to wait till Bahrain.

“There are changes, and you can feel the difference to last year. The floor is quite different, and so the car is always going to behave differently. But filming days are not about set-up work as that will be done in Bahrain”, concludes the Dutchman.
