Watch: Hollywood Star Tom Holland Meets Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc’s Misfortune at the Monaco GP

The Monaco Grand Prix, often touted as the crown jewel of Formula 1, attracts a lot of celebrity guests every year. The extravagance and grandeur associated with the Monaco GP are comparable to none. Among the celebrities that visited the race this year, were Orlando Bloom and Tom Holland. However, despite their fame and celebrity status, both of them were stopped by security at the entry to the paddock.

Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton once went through a similar situation. Hamilton turned up to the paddock in his full race suit and helmet. However, he was still stopped from entering the paddock. The security had asked him if he had a pass, to which a flabbergasted Hamilton clarified that he is a Formula 1 driver.

Ferrari star Charles Leclerc had to go through a similar experience once. The Monegasque driver was denied entry into the paddock after he forgot to bring his pass with him. Even though he was fully dressed in Ferrari colors, Leclerc had to wait outside the paddock for a considerable amount of time before the guards verified his identity and let him in.

Tom Holland And Orlando Bloom had to verify their identity in Monaco

Amongst the various stars that descended at Monaco was Tom Holland, popular for bringing the Spiderman character to life. The young British actor was seen roaming around the paddock taking pictures with a lot of F1 drivers. He also had the opportunity to wave the chequered flag at the end of the race.

However, his celebrity privilege did not really work when it came to clearing security. While entering the paddock, Tom Holland was stopped by security. He was asked to show his paddock pass that was hanging around his neck. Holland cooperated with the guards and quickly showed the required pass. He was then granted entry to the paddock.

The same happened with Orlando Bloom. The ‘Pirates of The Carribean’ actor was busy making a video on his phone when he was stopped by security. He had to verify his pass as well before being granted entry into the paddock.

Holland met up with a lot of prominent personalities

Tom Holland made sure that he made the best use of his time at the Monaco GP paddock. He met up with a lot of famous people around the paddock and clicked pictures with them. One of them was soccer sensation Neymar Jr who met up with Holland in front of the Red Bull garage. The duo even took a picture with the highly reputed Red Bull pit crew.

Even though Tom Holland was very clear about his loyalties for the Monaco Grand Prix, Neymar Jr made a very weird comment about whom he was supporting in the race. Holland had made it very clear that he was supporting Lewis Hamilton.

Tom Holland also managed to get pictures with McLaren star Lando Norris as well as Alpine driver Esteban Ocon.

However, when it came to Neymar, the Brazilian said that Hamilton was a long time friend of his, but he would be rooting for both his friend as well as Red Bull.
