The duo of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz is often labeled as one of the best in F1 right now. Ferrari signed Sainz in 2021 as Sebastian Vettel’s replacement and many people felt that he wouldn’t gel well with the team and Leclerc. However, since signing, he has been a solid asset for them, both on and off the track.
Sainz’s relationship with Leclerc has also been very good. While the two of them aren’t as close as Sainz was with his former McLaren teammate Lando Norris, they share a good relationship. The host of this shoot asked Leclerc to name three things he liked about Sainz. Leclerc started by saying that he loves the fact that the Spanish driver is a good chef, but is disappointed that he’s never invited over.

Carlos Sainz rejects Charles Leclerc’s request to come to his home for food
Leclerc revealed that Sainz makes very nice pasta, but does not spend a lot of time on burgers. He asked the Spaniard to call him over so that they can make them together. Sainz, however, straight up told him that he never wants to come over anyway.
“He cooks well,” Leclerc said. “Pasta, No, Hamburgers. You still need to invite me to your house to cook me the hamburger. Sainz replied by saying, “Yeah, but you never want to come.”
It’s evident that Sainz and Leclerc were joking, but the latter continued the horseplay by arguing that the Madrid-born driver never invited him in the first place. To this, Sainz replied that even if he does invite the Monegasque, he will reply by saying he’s too busy to come.
