Fan abandons Son jersey only to wear Lampard's Chelsea jersey after Blues win 2-0

Fan abandons Heung Min Son’s jersey only to wear Frank Lampard’s Chelsea jersey after his side wins over Tottenham Hotspur by 2-0.

Chelsea had a great encounter against Tottenham Hotspur in the 18th matchday of the Premier League. Most of the credits go to Willian, who scored a brace to beat the North Londoners.

Amidst the scintillating game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a fan was spotted who desperately wanted to be on the winning side. The Sun has released pictures showing someone in the ground swapping his Spurs shirt with ‘Son 7’ on the back for a Chelsea shirt with ‘Lampard 8’ on it.

Fan abandons Son jersey

Fan abandons Son jerseyHeung Min Son’s performance does warrant a withdrawal of support as the Korean International was caught making violent conduct in the match, as he allegedly kicked on Antonio Rudiger’s ribs.

To this, Son received a direct red card by Anthony Taylor who was the in charge of the game last night. With this, Son will miss the next three games, to serve the suspension received after a direct red card.

Although, it can be said that the fan in the stadium can be a tourist and wanted to maintain neutrality and considering the fan following, but for the locals in the London, it would be a huge sin to dawn the jersey of the rival club.

Nevertheless, Chelsea’s win over Spurs have accelerated their pursuit for the top-4 finish, meanwhile, Tottenham seemed promising after Jose Mourinho’s arrival and was looking like true contenders to finish in the top-4.

But with this loss, they are at a huge disadvantage, as the gap between the top-4 and rest of the table is slowly widening. So, Mourinho certainly have a huge job to do in upcoming fixtures in the league.
