Leonardo Bonucci gave Juventus the lead in the 36th minute. However, Christian Kouame equalised just 4 minutes later. After that the match turned into a foul fest as 3 players received red cards! Genoa’s Francesco Cassata and Federico Marchetti were sent back in the 51st and 57th minute of the match.
The club actually did well, playing with 2 men less for almost 40 minutes. Despite registering 27 shots in total and 11 shots on target, Juventus couldn’t find the winner. Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot was then sent off in the 87th minute.

With the minutes running down, it seemed that Juventus would have to settle for a draw. However, Cristiano Ronaldo had other ideas as he found the back of the net in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, the goal was denied by VAR.
Cristiano though, was destined to score in the night as he won a penalty in the 95th minute. He then smashed the ball past the keeper to give Juventus their 3 points. However, fans are now accusing the Portuguese ace of simulating to help himself to a penalty.
