Sachin Tendulkar is a very busy man these days. Between supporting his beloved Mumbai Indians and travelling the country for promotions, Sachin has been in the news lately. But the ‘God of Cricket’ has irked many people as they say that he is over promoting his upcoming biopic, SACHIN : A billion dreams. So why are fans not happy with Sachin Tendulkar?
Sachin recently held a private screening for the Armed forces. He spoke about his reverence for the army and how he always wished that they were the first ones to see his movie. The ANI put out a tweet in which Sachin said the following.

“When I decided to do this movie, first thought was that 1st screening should be for Indian Armed forces: Tendulkar #SachinABillionDreams.”

But fans were not pleased, as they believed that this is just a promotional stunt carried out for the movie. Many people took to Twitter, as they called this a shameful act of self propaganda.
u wasted nations money by not attending parliament, that was not expected from u. I ll not watch ur movie.

Sachin has hardly comeback 'not out' with victory for india….he may b inspiration of cricketers but not the military.

Several people also complained that Sachin should not waste time in promoting his film, but rather start attending the Parliament more regularly. There were also some people who claimed that Sachin was simply being selfish. They said that he never helped the army in times of need, but was using them right now for selfish purposes.
While we must respect each individual’s opinion, it is surprising to see this level of animosity towards one of the most respected individuals in the country. Surely, this is just a small minority that has been vocal in their criticism towards the great man.
