Only four clubs will be in action this round of fixtures
With the FA Cup also being held this weekend, the Premier League sees the scissors run on it. In a bid to accommodate the domestic cup tournament, the showpiece league will see only eight teams take to the middle to feature in four contests.
FPL Team Picks
Goal-Keeper
Robert Sanchez, 4.5 million
Pulling off a slew of saves the last time around, Sanchez ensured his side withstood a late onslaught to earn a 2-1 win on the day.
Defenders
Lewis Dunk, 5 million
The club’s captain, Dunk was equally quiessential to the side’s triumph on the day as he scored for the club to open the scoring for them.
Aaron Cresswell, 5.9 million
Although he’s up against a tricky Arsenal side, Cresswell will still be featuring for us with him pulling off the 7 layups this season.
Stuart Dallas, 5.1 million
A cleansheet against Chelsea paired with his affinity for making his presence felt in the club’s attack make Dallas a must have pick for his impending matchup with relegation embroiled Fulham/
Mid-Fielders
Raphina, 5.6 million
The goals might have dried up for him off late but Raphinha influence on the park has remained the same. In the form of his life, the Leeds United player will be quietly confident of netting against Fulham.
Ademola Lookman, 5.1 million
With time running out and running out fast for Fulham, the gripping Lookman will be accorded a free hand to express himself freely up the park.
Lucas Moura, 6.6 million
Back into Tottenham’s scheme of things in the league, Moura’s assist against Arsenal is bound to earn him another role in his side’s playing 11.
Leandro Trossard, 5.7 million
Scoring his side’s match winning goal the last time around, Trossard makes for sublime value owing to the identity of his opposition this time around.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 11.4 million
He was dropped for being late the last time around but we envision Aubameyang’s penalty to be curbed there. The Arsenal top scorer will be looking to redeem himself against neighbours West Ham to see that added incentive earn him a spot in our side.
Strikers
Patrick Bamford, 6.7 million
Although he’s an injury scare at the moment, we envisage the 13 goal and 5 assist striker getting a clean bill of health to feature in this round.
Harry Kane, 11.4 million
His club’s leading scorer this season with a gargantuan 21 goals to show for his trouble, the Englishman will be looking to add to his tally as he strives to get his club back to winning ways.
Captaincy Choice
It was tricky to look past Kane for our captain in gameweek 29.
