Football Transfer News: Harry Kane chased by three European giants including Real Madrid

Tottenham Hotspur fear Harry Kane would want a move away from the club following a disastrous start.

Tottenham Hotspur fear that striker Harry Kane could be inclined to leaving the club alongside several senior players in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The English striker has been at his best on an individual note by scoring seven goals out of nine appearances this season. However, his team has made a stuttering start as they are already ten points adrift of the table-toppers Liverpool and sit sixth in the Premier League table.

Additionally, Tottenham were heavily beaten 7-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stages at Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Tuesday. Following this humiliation, queries were raised over Mauricio Pochettino’s future, but he continues to be worried about the player’s integrity for the first time since taking over the club in 2014.

Albeit the stupendous summer business by acquiring Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, and Ryan Sessegnon, they entered the season with a host of unhappy players including Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen, and Toby Alderweireld. The trio has chosen to run down their contract and seek a move elsewhere.

Even the revered Mauricio Pochettino has toyed with his future at the club, starting prior to Liverpool Champions League final loss back in May.

And now, the English club are fearing that Harry Kane would seek a move elsewhere because of their poor run and lack of silverware during their golden period under Mauricio Pochettino, according to the reliable Times.

England’s captain has scored 122 goals in preceding five seasons and collected the 2018 World Cup golden boot. Besides, Kane is arguably one of the top three strikers in the world over the last four years.

The report states that Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Chelsea have all been interested in the past and could make a move if he’s unhappy at London currently.

All three clubs will offer lucrative packages than the £150,000-a-week deal which Kane is currently on, with his earnings rise to £200,000-a-week deal a week near the end of his 2024 deal.

Harry Kane has refused to move away from the club owing down to the strong bond with the manager Mauricio Pochettino in the past. Should the Argentinian depart, it could also force Kane to take a decision.
