Football transfer news: Neymar urges PSG to sign Barcelona player

Football transfer news: Neymar urges PSG to sign Barcelona player as the Brazilian International wishes to play with Philippe Coutinho.

Barcelona signed Philippe Coutinho as the club record signing in January, 2018 from Liverpool. However, the Brazilian International has been a major disappointment since a significant period of time.

His recent exhibits compelled the fans to criticize the player, as he has performed nowhere near to his price tag.

Thus, Barcelona would be willing to hear offers for Coutinho, if suitable offers are proposed for the Brazilian International.

Hence, according to a report by LÉquipe suggests that Neymar is urging PSG to hire the services of the 26-year-old player.

The two Brazilians share a good relationship with each other, and this could facilitate in PSG signing the player as the duo can form an effective alliance.

Whereas, probable arrival of Antione Griezmann would cut-short the game-time of Coutinho at Nou Camp, hence, it could propel him to look at viable options.

Additionally, considering the competition in Ligue 1, Coutinho might not have to deal with the pressure, he faces at Barcelona.

On the other hand, Chelsea are also targeting Coutinho as Blues’ owner Roman Abramovich has decided to sign the midfielder in order to replace Eden Hazard, who is set to leave the London based club for Real Madrid this summer.

However, if Chelsea fails to overturn the transfer ban, then it will be a clear road for PSG to gain the services of Coutinho, if Barcelona agrees to negotiate with the French club.
