Man Utd Transfer News: Manchester United send scouts to monitor Copa America star

Man Utd Transfer News: Manchester United send scouts to monitor Everton Cebolinha of Gremio, who gained fame after his Copa America stint.

Manchester United are trying to hire their targets to bolster their squad ahead of the next season, as an underwhelming sixth place finish in the Premier league has compelled the Red Devils to make transformations in the squad.

According to a claim by the Brazilian Journalist Farid Germano, as per the SportsWitness Manchester United have sent their scouts to watch Gremio, and been instructed to keep a special focus at Brazil’s Copa America star Everton Cebolinha.

Everton was surprising inclusion in the Brazilian lineup, as he replaced Neymar, who picked up an ankle injury in the initial days of the tournament.

The 23-year-old player had a successful campaign in Copa America with the Selecaos, as the Brazilian contingent won the tournament after defeating Peru by 3-1 in the final.

The journalist further claimed that Everton came back to play for Gremio last night, after winning the Copa America on Sunday. The scouts from Manchester United were impressed by him as he scored a crucial goal for Gremio in the 1-1 draw.

It is also reported that Bayern Munich have already made a bid for the Brazilian International. Whereas, AC Milan also made an offer, and in response received counter offer from the Brazilian club.

Last night’s match was surrounded by stories asking if this could be Everton’s last appearance for Gremio. But the local press continues to claim that there are no official offers for the forward.

On the other hand, Manchester United have already signed Daniel James, who plays at the same position. So, Manchester United’s purpose are still unknown as of now.
